Accessibility
Built for everyone in LA.
Digital inclusion isn't a checkbox for VibePass AI. It is the strategic foundation we build on — for The Ford, for Metro riders, for every visitor and resident.
Our commitment
A person's disability is unique. So is our response.
Reaching every visitor of a public-facing product is genuinely hard. What works for one person can get in another person's way. We work to accommodate as many of our riders, guests, and partners as possible — sized to our resources, and informed by what we keep learning from the people who actually use this.
We engage accessibility professionals to advise us, we test against WCAG 2.2 AA, and we treat every report from a real human as a priority signal — not a ticket.
Accessibility on this site
Tools we ship in the product.
Every page on The Ford Companion has an Accessibility control in the top bar. Open it to adjust the experience to you — settings persist on your device:
- Text size100% / 115% / 130% / 150%
- High contrastMaximum legibility palette
- Highlight linksOutline every interactive link
- Wide spacingLetter and word spacing
- Loose linesMore vertical breathing room
- Pause motionStops animations and video
- Hide imagesText-only reading mode
- Large cursorBigger, easier-to-track pointer
We also build with semantic HTML, keyboard-first navigation, visible focus rings, descriptive alt text, ARIA where it adds clarity, and a reduced-motion path that respects your operating system setting. Content is translated into nine languages so the product meets riders where they live.
Beyond what we ship, your browser and operating system offer powerful aids — screen readers, magnifiers, voice control, captioning. We design to stay out of their way.
We are here for you
If anything here is hard to use, reach a human.
If our built-in tools and your own browser aids still don't get you where you need to go, contact us. A real person at VibePass AI will help you complete what you came here to do, and we'll fix what got in the way.
Your privacy is protected
You are not required to share personal information to ask for help. That includes your name, address, phone number, the nature of your disability, or anything you might be looking to do on the site. The only information we ever see is whatever you choose to include in your message.
If your email is routed through a third-party server before it reaches us, that server only forwards it — no one there reads or responds on our behalf.
A note on our scope
We are honest about what we can and can't control.
We update this product continuously. As technology, our resources, and our understanding of rider needs evolve, parts of this site — including its accessibility features — will change. Reasonable, ongoing improvement is the goal; perfect is the enemy of shipped.
Some content, flows, or policies still have room to improve. If you spot something, tell us — your feedback is the fastest way we get better.
The Companion may link out to third-party sites — Metro, ticketing partners, tourism boards, retailers. We do not control the structure of those sites and cannot modify them, so we cannot guarantee or be responsible for their accessibility.
Third-party aids
Browser, platform, and screen-reader tools.
